Bike Maintenance

Regular Bike Maintenance evenings are held at Penny Farthing Cycles, 89 Courtenay Place, Wellington throughout the year.

A class covers basic bike maintenance, both road and mountain, including :

• changing tyres without tyre levers!
• oiling, rejoining, cleaning and maintaining chains
• adjusting gears and brakes, plus
• tips on a regular cleaning regime to keep your cycle running smoothly, save wear and tear on components, not to mention embarrassment and long walks home!

A class is $15.00 per person, payable on the night, runs from 6.15 pm to 8.00 pm and includes light refreshments.

Email us if you'd like to reserve your place. We'll confirm your reservation and also email you the day prior to remind you.

If you can get a group of 12 together we can also run a separate class just for you. Email us to indentify a suitable date.
