Background and interests:

I grew up in Wellington and moved to Christchurch to complete my Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree. I lived in Christchurch for 4 years and enjoyed the cycling and skiing opportunities. With my degree finished I moved back up to Wellington. I am now an engineer in the real world but if I had it my way I would be a cyclist and a part time engineer.

I have been mountain biking/cycling since I was young but recently it was time to get some kilometres into the legs and some race results. I ride as many road races as I can but occasionally compete in a mountain bike race to mix it up a bit.

My main interests apart from cycling are skiing, electronics, and anything outdoors

Unfortunately a crash while skiing earlier in the year injured my hand and I could not ride for a while. Now the hand is better and I am back on the bike.

I am looking forward to racing in the Lake Taupo Classic Race again this year and adding another lap to the total to bring it up to 9.
All going well I am pretty keen on entering the Tour of Wellington and Tour of Southland next year.
